A+B is a research and design workshop in the objects, spaces and global design. It was founded in 2007 at Toulouse by Hanika Perez graduated with a Master of Design and Brice Genre Doctor of Design and Lecturer at the Toulouse University.

The work of A+B is based on a transversal approach open to human sciences. They draw their references in artistic fields and related disciplines.

They consider object like a tool which proposes life scenarios. It is an expression of complex relationships between the characters, the places and the times that they live.

The design of the project is guided by the research of simplicity and its poietic dimension. The object is the memory of intentions and tools that shaped them.

The A+B production extend from practical and theorical prospective research and unique pieces design to the design of industrial objects. They also work on global spaces design projects or exhibition scenographies.

A+B received differents international contests awards like Parckdesign in 2007, Nespresso Design Contest in 2008, the design global tender from La Cuisine and Nègrepelisse municipality in 2009 and Design Parade 05 in 2010. Their furniture named Déjeuner sur l’Ombre edited by Tôlerie Forezienne was endorsed by the Observeur du Design in 2010. From 2013 they regulary work with Sébastien and Michel Bras starred chefs. They recently redesign the arrangement of the 3-star restaurant Le Suquet situated at Laguiole, France.
