Flatland

< >

Flatland is a system of 4 generic objects. A pot, a stone, a sheet and a spoon form the primary vocabulary of a movable kitchen. Each one is defined by a specific cooking principle but purposes which are flexible and no dedicated, so that they are objects for everyday use. The absence of base, isothermal quality of their surfaces, and removable power cords, allow them to simultaneously take the role of tools for cooking, serving and eating. Focusing particularly on the flexibility of access to electric energy. we have outlined tools such as geometric variables generating spaces for cooking. Whether it is occasional or ephemeral, supplementary or primary, Flatland allows to materialize a kitchen in a cramped or reserved space for other activities, or an extension of the main hearth.
