Lumone

< >

The Lumone, designed and carried out in three copies for the project Skies domestic, materializes a roof, a roof that draws territories with light. Made entirely of wood, it consists of a opaque shell (frame + coating), and a lens of veneer whose essence gives the light its special quality when it crosses. The details of veining, shades of color of the wood, are also poetic events to observe: the expressions of a possible introduction of nature in domestic space. Halfway between the object and the micro-architecture, the Lumone with a wingspan of 130 cm in diameter, reintroduces a form of wonder in our civility. More than a suspension, the Lumone is a light to contemplate: a domestic sky.
